FEEDBACK WANTED: Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Indigeneity Input for UCC Discussions

We are seeking input from our membership regarding key terms, priorities, and perspectives related to Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Indigeneity (EDII) that you wish to bring forth to the Union College Committee (UCC).

As these important discussions continue within our union and the broader college system, we want to ensure that the voices and experiences of our members are heard and fairly represented at the UCC.

Your feedback will help guide Local 654 in bringing forward meaningful and important input.

We invite all members to share their thoughts on topics such as:

• Definitions and understandings of Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Indigeneity.

• Workplace experiences or questions/concerns related to EDII.

• Suggestions for respectful and inclusive language.

• Priorities for advocacy, education, and workplace practices.

• Ideas for improving inclusivity and representation within our workplace and union.

All feedback will be carefully considered as part of our contribution to upcoming UCC discussions.
