How to Join Local 654
Signing your union card is the first step to securing your rights and making your voice heard. Follow these simple steps to officially join our Local and be a part of something big!
3. Wait for Confirmation!
Once submitted, you'll receive your union number and details about being part of the OPSEU College Support team! As you wait for your union card to arrive, you'll receive an electronic temporary card - and it might be a good idea to read the 'New Members Guide' from OPSEU HQ!
Easy Ways to Get Involved
Participating in your union doesn't have to be a full-time job. Whether you have five minutes or five hours, there's a place for you to help strengthen our community.
Become a Steward
Are you a natural leader? A problem solver? Be the first point of contact for your colleagues. Stewards help explain the collective agreement and support members in the workplace.
Join a Committee
Join and engage in specific areas like Health & Safety, Equity, or Social events. Committees are a great way to use your unique skills for the Local. We want your voice at every table as a worker!
